Kaiteriteri.NZ known as the Hire company offers the person hiring a front suspension bike push bike / ebike  for use in the Kaiteriteri Area. Only accept this arrangement if the person hiring or their group accepts all the conditions as listed bellow. 

1) The hirer acknowledges and agrees that bike riding is a dangerious activity and that there is a chance of  injury or death while par taking in this sport. You accept this risk and can not sue  or hold the hire company lible in any way  directly or indirectly for injury, loss of movement, loss of limb, property or other loss at any time during or after the hire.

2) The hirer accepts that the Hire Company will not be held liable for any injury ot damage to themselves, their property or a third party property.

3) The hirer accepts that the hire company does not hold any Travel Insurance or health insurance that can be used in the event of injury ot death or damage to any assett. We strongly recommend that the hirer has travel and health insurance to cover yourself.  The hire company does not have Public Libility Insurance. 

4) The hirer accepts that they are required to abide by the road rules of New Zealand at all times and that even if all rules are abided by there is still a risk to life and limb.

5) The Hire company will not hire to a novice rider and will do dudiligence by asking the hirer to ride our bike a short distance to ensure they are capible of riding. If injury or death occurs the Hire Company can not be held accountable because the Hirer has advised the Hire Company that they are capible of riding a bike safely and feel comfortable. This trial is simply to prove this.  

6) The hirier acknowledges that the Hire Company has provided them with a bike that is not intended to be used offroad or in extreme use, eventing or activity. We do allow our bikes to be used on the Great Trail Pathway.

7) If a bike becomes unroad worthy for any reason then the hirier must not use the bike. The hirer must contact the Hire Company as soon as possible and await further instructions. This may mean the end of the hire period. 

8) If it is beleived that the hirer is using the bike(s) in a way that is clearly not safe or not recommended by the manifactoer the hire will be ceased straight away and no refund given.

9) All safey items provided by the hirier must be worn at all times. New Zealand Law clearly states that the hirer must wear the head helmet provided. If the helmet or any safety gear is not usable the hirer must advise the Hire Company so it can be replaced. No riding of the bike until all safety gear is available and can be used and is being used.

10. In the event that the bike is damaged the bond will be used to repair the bike.  Broken chains, cables, brakes, seats, punctures and scratches are not considered liable damage but part of normal wear and tear.  If the bike is not returned full replacement cost will be sought to replace the bike.
